Tereza

Tereza is a Voice Teacher based in London specialising in Jazz Voice Technique, Jazz Improvisation, Songwriting and Arrangement. Tereza teaches students of all levels and ages in English and Romanian.

Tereza is an incredibly inspiring teacher. She is young, open-minded and creative and at the same time professional and dedicated to teaching music. She knows how to bring up the best in her student's voice, because she listens with patience and sympathy and always finds the best approach to fix technical singing problem. She has an amazing and original voice, fresh ideas on composition and, within her classes, she uses all her talent to make her students feel inspired and free to express themselves through music. I highly recommend her.

Tereza has a passion for working with people who want to learn to Sing Jazz and uses student-centred approach, making the student's needs and their learning approach - her very first priority.

Helping a student finding their own musical voice in the most healthy way and providing them with the tools to gain confidence and to improve their technique - is Tereza's aim.

Tereza comes from multicultural music background - her Master Degree in Jazz Singing is from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, UK, which she was awarded with a Distinction; her BA is from the Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen, the Netherlands; and she studied and performed in Eastern Europe as a classical pianist from the age of 4 until she was 18. 

Ever since then, Tereza performed as a jazz vocalist with her original compositions at a number of festivals and concerts around Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, and United Kingdom.
